
Brad was born in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA and grew up exploring the mountains, rivers, and lakes of the Gem state. Brad has a bachelor of arts degree from Boise State University and focused on community organizing in his studies.
He first moved to Alaska in 2000 and has since worked within the AK tourism industry, human services, and teaching ESL in Fairbanks, Galena, Nenana, and Anchorage.
Brad has over 5 years experience teaching English as a Second Language in Icheon City and Bundang, South Korea, Australia, Idaho, Colorado, and Alaska. His students came from South Korea, Iraq, Bosnia, Mexico, Vietnam, Chile, El Salvador, China, Bangladesh, and Thailand.
Brad is certified in CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid through the American Safety and Health Institute.
Brad holds a 120 hour TEFL Certificate and is completing the James Liu Teacher Entrepreneur Challenge.
